Apps

Apps

This one is a pretty short story. After creating the Snapchat Lens for Bobcat Bonnies, the owner asked me if I could create an app for them. It was my first ever creating an app, or doing anything of the sort. I first started off with Android, because it was the easiest. I had to do lots of research, and Googling but I eventually figured out how to do it. I decided to create a iframes with webpages hosted off the Bobcat Bonnies websites for the pages. This way users didn’t have to worry about updating the app for a simple menu change. I uploaded it on the app store, created some graphics, and then I moved on to IOS. The IOS one I found to be a lot easier. You have to use a Mac to create an IOS app which I didn’t have. So my teacher thankfully let me borrow one of the school’s Macs. I used that and successfully created the app. It was a little journey for me because I learned two new coding languages. Below you can find the links to the android and IOS versions of the app.
